A Quick Update from Each of Us

Other than having a blast making the logo, icons, and website for Reading Voraciously, I had the opportunity to design the layout for the cards and tokens for an upcoming board game!
I’ve also been making a few updates to my website and applying to jobs! (What fun!) I’ve enjoyed the work I’ve done doing design for game companies, so I’m exploring options to work full time in that industry. If you know anyone who wants some user interface art hit me up :)

My short story Cock Block (originally published in Moon City Review, August 2022) is now available to read online with Bulb Culture Collective! BCC is an online literary magazine dedicated to providing a home for previously published work whose original publications have gone dark or were print only.
For those of you who haven’t read Cock Block yet, I want to provide something a disclaimer. This is probably one of the stories I’m proudest of, both personally and professionally. It has been nominated for the pushcart prize as well as Moon City Review’s 2023 Best Small Fictions Award. That said, it is quite dark and comes with several content warnings: sexual content, oppression, self-harm, descriptions of blood, death, animal death, and language. All I’ll say is proceed with caution, and if these content warnings don’t sound like your cup of tea, that’s totally fine!
There might be a feature of this story in BCC in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for that!
